Product information

The IMPULSE NUTRITION MAGNESIUM BISGLYCINATE is your daily ally to combat physical and mental fatigue.

Reduction of fatigue

Magnesium is an essential mineral that contributes to energy metabolism. Combined with vitamin B6, it helps reduce fatigue, both physical and mental. A real boost for maintaining daily performance.

Optimal recovery

By supporting normal muscle metabolism and contributing to optimal protein synthesis, magnesium plays a key role in recovery. After exercise, it helps your body regenerate more efficiently.

A form that facilitates assimilation

In bisglycinate form, it is bound to two amino acids (glycines), which optimizes its absorption. Greater bioavailability, less digestive discomfort. Just what you need, where you need it!

Energy. Recovery. Balance.

An essential everyday ally to recharge your batteries!

Why is magnesium bisglycinate more effective?

Magnesium bisglycinate is a form highly bioavailable and better tolerated by the body. It is associated with glycine, an amino acid that facilitates its absorption and limits digestive disorders often caused by other forms of magnesium.

What is the magnesium content of one Impulse Nutrition Magnesium Bisglycinate capsule?

Each capsule of Impulse Nutrition Magnesium Bisglycinate contains 141mg of magnesium. We recommend taking 2 capsules per day, so 282mg of magnesium, either 75% NRVs (Nutrient Reference Values).

What is the vitamin B6 content of one Impulse Nutrition Magnesium Bisglycinate capsule?

Each capsule of Magnesium Bisglycinate Impulse Nutrition contains 1.12 mg of vitamin B6, either 80% NRVs (Nutrient Reference Values).

Is your Magnesium Causing digestive disorders?

Magnesium bisglycinate is one of the most common forms better tolerated on a digestive level. Unlike other types of magnesium (oxide, citrate), it does not usually cause laxative effects.

When will I feel the effects of my magnesium treatment?

The effects of magnesium are felt after a few weeks, depending on the level of deficiency. You should notice improvements in muscle recovery, sleep, and stress levels.

What is bioavailability?

Bioavailability refers to a nutrient's ability to be absorbed and utilized by the body. The higher it is, the more the body benefits from magnesium.

Why does magnesium need a carrier?

Magnesium cannot be optimally absorbed on its own, so it is combined with transporters such as glycine (bisglycinate) to facilitate its absorption.

By the way, what does "bisglycinate" mean?

The term "bisglycinate" means that the magnesium is bound to two glycine molecules, which improves its absorption and reduces digestive upset.

Why is magnesium key for athletes? When does it come into play?

Magnesium is essential for the muscle contraction, there recovery and the stress management. It is also involved in energy production and the reduction of muscle cramps.

What are the different types of magnesium?

There are 4 main types of magnesium:
- Bisglycinate: Excellent absorption and digestive tolerance.
- Citrate: Good absorption, can be laxative.
- Oxide: Form with the highest magnesium content, but less absorbed.
- Chloride: Good assimilation, but can irritate the stomach.

Is there an organic certification for magnesium?

Magnesium as a mineral cannot be certified organic, but it can be derived from natural sources and guaranteed to be free of harmful additives.

Why choose Impulse Nutrition Magnesium Bisglycinate over other forms of magnesium?

Impulse Nutrition Magnesium Bisglycinate has the advantage to provide a high dosage since only 2 capsules per day provide 75% NRVs (Nutrient Reference Values). In addition, its bisglycinate form and the coupling with vitamin B6 improve absorption and efficiency.

What are the signs of magnesium deficiency?

A blood test is the best way to identify whether you have a magnesium deficiency. Symptoms include fatigue, muscle cramps, irritability, sleep disturbances, and decreased athletic performance.

How long does a magnesium cure last?

A cure of 1 to 3 months is generally recommended to restore magnesium levels.

When should I take magnesium?

It is recommended to take it in the evening before bedtime to promote relaxation and recovery.

Should I take both capsules at once?

To optimize absorption, it is best to spread the intake throughout the day, but they can be taken at the same time, with a glass of water.

Scientific studies

Magnesium: understanding its history and choosing the right form

Around 1810, the English chemist Davy discovered a metal that he first named magnium, then magnesium, from the name of the magnesia. This last name goes back to the medieval Latin magnesia, itself derived from the name of the stone of Magnesia (from the Greek Magnês lithos). Magnesium (Mg2+), is an essential mineral and cofactor of more than 300 enzymatic processes. It plays a regulatory role in energy metabolism, protein synthesis, function muscular and nervous, control of blood sugar and blood pressure.

The magnesium atom is never present alone in supplements: it is always linked to another compound to form a magnesium salt. This bond is necessary to stabilize the atom and facilitate its absorption by the body. There are two main families of salts:organic salts(linked to organic acids) and the inorganic salts (bound to minerals). Organic forms, such as citrate, the bisglycinate or the malate, are generally better absorbed and better tolerated. Inorganic forms, such as the oxide or chloride, are less well absorbed and can cause digestive problems.

The magnesium bisglycinate is a chelated form of magnesium, where magnesium is bound to two molecules of glycine (an amino acid), allowing for improved absorption and better digestive tolerance.
