Product information

The IMPULSE NUTRITION PREWORKOUT, a concentrate of active ingredients to push your limits and perform in every session.

Formulated for demanding workouts.

Focus and immediate energy

Thanks to caffeine and L-tyrosine, this pre-workout boosts your alertness and helps you stay focused, even during the most intense efforts. Ideal for staying in your zone, 100% dedicated to performance.

Power and endurance

Carbosyn® beta-alanine helps delay the buildup of lactic acid, the main cause of muscle burn. The result: you maintain your intensity longer and give more with every set.

Muscle congestion

The combination of L-citrulline and L-arginine in Velox® promotes nitric oxide (NO) production, a natural vasodilator. Your muscles are better oxygenated and better nourished. Congestion is amplified, for intense sensations and a real performance boost.

Recovery during exercise

With BCAA supplementation, you limit muscle catabolism during training and support muscle rebuilding from the very first reps. Less fatigue, more impact.

Pleasure, without compromise

A smooth texture, a refreshing lemon flavor and no bitterness. A real moment of pleasure before training, that makes all the difference.

Dynamism. Precision. Power.

A pre-workout designed to help you go further. Every session.

How much caffeine is recommended for optimal training?

The optimal dose varies depending on individual tolerance, but generally 200mg is recommended to improve energy, focus, and athletic performance.

Does your pre-workout contain taurine?

We did not add taurine to our preworkout because several clinical studies show that it can attenuate the stimulant action of caffeine. Indeed, the ingestion of caffeine improves reaction time, whereas when combined with taurine, no stimulating effect was observed.

What is the caffeine content of one serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout?

Each 20g serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout contains 200mg of caffeine.

What is the beta-alanine carnosyn content of one serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout?

Each 20g serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout contains 3.2g of beta-alanine.

What is the L-citrulline content of one serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout?

Each 20g serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout contains 3g of L-citrulline.

What is the BCAA content of one serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout?

Each 20g serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout contains 6g of BCAA.

What is L-arginine content of one serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout?

Each 20g serving of Impulse Nutrition Preworkout contains 3g of L-arginine.

Is pre-workout dangerous?

No, when consumed as recommended, our Preworkout is safe and effective. However, it is reserved for adults, not recommended for people sensitive to caffeine, pregnant or breastfeeding women. You should not take Preworkout and an energy drink at the same time.

Does your pre-workout formula cause tingling?

Yes, beta-alanine may cause a tingling sensation (paresthesia), a temporary and harmless effect.

What are the side effects of a pre-workout?

Taking a pre-workout is safe for the consumer at the indicated dosage. However, some users may experience tingling, increased heart rate, or digestive disturbances depending on their sensitivity.

Can you take a pre-workout before an evening workout?

Avoid taking it too late, as caffeine can disrupt sleep.

Which pre-workout is effective for endurance sports?

For endurance sports, an association of maltodextrin and of electrolytes is more relevant, mainly for efforts of more than 1h30.

Can you consume your pre-workout every day?

It is recommended to take breaks after several weeks of use. This is because the body adapts and gradually reduces its response to caffeine, which would make the pre-workout less effective.

Is there an alternative to pre-workout?

Yes, a natural alternative can include black coffee, green tea, or nitrate sources like beets, which will be effective in terms of energy but not in terms of muscle pumping like our pre-workout. Indeed, the latter contains citrulline and arginine, which promote muscle pumping.

Pre-workout: How long before training should you take it for optimal effect?

Before training, ideally 30 to 60 minutes before to benefit from its energetic effect.

Scientific studies

Origin and evolution of pre-workouts

Pre-workout supplements emerged with the rise of intensive bodybuilding and high-demand sports. Their goal is clear: to optimize physical performance even before starting the effort.

Initially composed mainly of caffeine and fast sugars, these products have evolved significantly. Modern formulas now rely on a synergy of targeted ingredients: amino acids, vasodilation precursors, substances that buffer muscle acidity, and more.

This evolution reflects a deeper understanding of athletes’ needs depending on the type of effort — power, explosiveness, endurance — and the role of the central nervous system in performance.

Today, a pre-workout no longer simply “boosts” energy. It acts on multiple levels to help the body deliver optimal and controlled performance.
