Tip: Continue eating normally, especially complex carbohydrates (pasta, rice, root vegetables). Maltodextrin complements your diet but does not replace it. Ensure proper hydration simultaneously, as maltodextrin can increase water requirements. On the day of the event, a final intake (around 300 to 500 ml) 1 to 1.5 hours before the start can be beneficial, but only if you are used to it.
